Stärken: The strong arcing motion through the entire Jane is what stood out most about the 715C. This ball will be perfect for when the skid/flip type balls are a little too much.

Schwächen: Balls that offer a lot of control will suffer when the back ends are super tight. This isn't one of these balls that will make it back to the pocket from anywhere. Just know this and all will be fine.

Insgesamt: The 715C will fit in the upper mid-price category for Track. It joins the 715A at this price point. The change in cover is what makes this one different from the 715A. The 715C gives those who liked the 715A another weapon from which to choose.

Comments: The 715C introduces a new cover, combined with the "Catback" core which was previously used in the 715A. The UMP GEN 4C cover creates an earlier and smoother ball motion compared to the UMP GEN 3 cover used on the 715A. The core offers a medium RG rating, combined with a large flare potential. The combination of the two, gives the 715C a strong arcing type of reaction. As with all of the new Track releases, the 715C uses the new naming system from Track. The 7 signifies the strength of the cover. While the 15 teils us it has a medium strength mass bias and the C teils us to expect a controlled ball motion. The characteristics of the 715C will match up best with medium oil patterns that are either fresh or broken down as did the 715A. We don't suggest using this ball on Jong or oily patterns, as it will have the tendency to be a little over/under, which isn't the type of ball reaction you should be looking for. Other than a medium condition, the 715C will come in handy on some drier conditions for those who are able to move in deeper into the oil pattern. This ball won't be as sensitive to the friction as the 715A is on drier conditions. Most sport patterns require a more controlled ball motion, and ours is no different. The medium volume of our sport pattern allowed the 715C to match up extremely well. The length and strong arcing motion allowed each tester to find the pocket rather easily and knock down all ten pins pretty consistently. The only problem we see could occur is when this type of pattern goes through a major transition. When the head oil starts to go on this type of condition it will be time to put this ball away and go to a ball like the 505C, which has a slightly weaker cover.
